Anyone ever bought shoes off www.danskooutlet.com?
I really would like to try Dansko, but I don't want to spend $120 for shoes I may hate. The outlet is ran by Dansko, and the website says everything is factory seconds. It says the shoes may be scuffed, wrinkled, color may be a bit off, etc. The shoes are about $60-70 compared to $110-120. I'm ok with a little wrinkling, but I don't want to pay $$$ for scuffed up shoes. Any experiences?

I have bought Danskos from the outlet online and also as factory seconds sold on eBay. My chiropractor highly recommended them to me, but I read that some people didn't like the hard brick-like sole. I did not want to spend over $100 on shoes that I might not like, so I bought through the outlet first. I love them, and I have since bought several other pairs through eBay so I have several pairs to wear at home. Now Danskos (or Sanitas --same design, actually the orginal makers of the sole, but then Dansko and Sanita parted ways) are the only shoes I wear at work or running errands. I like the room in the toe box and the arch support. Some people have reported that they find it easy to turn their ankle in them, but I haven't had that problem. It's great if you can try some on in a store to get a feel for size before ordering. As one person said, each pair is handmade, so even within one size, you will find some variation, and that is the benefit of buying them at a local store. I have had good luck with ordering online though.
