Hi everyone, I am currently working as a surgical tech with an associate of applied science degree out here in michigan. I am planning on relocating to california (san jose, santa cruz area) in the spring. I'm wanting to go back to school to become an RN. I have looked into schools such as Deanza college and San Jose State. Was just wondering on people's experiences who have gone to these schools through the RN program or any other colleges that are good for a nursing degree? Also if anyone who went through nursing who like me, started out as a surgical tech and if it makes a difference if you already have the associate of applied science degree when going back to college in california? All help and opinions welcomed! Thanks!
