Hey all,
I'm preparing myself for my interview for nursing school that I have next Thursday. I was just wondering what kinds of questions did they ask you in your interview for nursing school? They told me that we would go over my application and the information that was on that and then I'd be asked about 6 other questions. So what did you guys have to answer?

We were not interveiwed but as a manager I will tell you some of the questions I ask prospective new hires: What are your immediate and long-term goals? Site an example of when you acted as a self-starter. What motivates you to do your best? What makes you think you can succeed in this unit (school)? Site an example when you worked as a team-member and tell me about the ups and downs of working in a team.
For the most part I am looking for articulation and positive attitude. I hope I also demonstrate that the candidate is expected to act as a self-starter and a team member. I expect you to be nervous, but I hope you are professional enough to dress appropriately, be clean, turn off your cell phone, smile and be pleasant. If you cannot do those things on your time you cannot do them on mine.
Ok, so pretty much it should be just like an interview for a job. I suspect they will ask some sort of question like "Why do you believe yourself to be qualified" on some level. I will keep the articulation and positivity in mind :)
