I am at Charity now and some of the places where clinicals are being completed are: EJ, Oschner, Kenner, West Jeff, and some places on the Northshore.

If this is so, then it's REALLY increased.
I made 18.75/hr in BR two years ago....and that was with two years of experience!

New Grad base pay ranges from 16.50 to 19.50 depending on the hospital and shift differential ranges from 4.00 to 8.00 again depending on the hospital. Lower base pay has higher shift diff and vise versa.

New grad pay at Thibodaux Regional just increased to $21-22/hr with the new market adjustment we just recieved. Come check us out, it is a pretty good place to work.

Tulane: $20.58 plus sign on bonus, offers free BSN/MS program w/ Loyola
Oschner: $20
East Jeff: $20.11, tuition reimbursement
Touro:$21 w/ benefits, $26 w/o benefits, repays NCLEX review course and tuition reimbursement
These are the only salaries I know of off hand (I got this info at our job fair at school). The salaries are for new grad RN's.
What is the extra pay for different shifts such as night and weekend?
