Published

Good day, I have been scouring this site and reading up on your wonderful advice regarding the construction of cover letters, and I would like to enlist your help in improving the one below that I have already devised. Your input would be much appreciated!

Good day sir and I hope this letter finds you well.

This is with respect to the vacancy posted for the position of staff nurse in your prestigious institution. With my various nursing experience, I feel am an excellent fit in your institution.

I graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from X college in April 2008 and passed the Nursing Licensure Exam conducted on November XXXX and garnered a rating of 83%.

My professional nursing career started as a nurse trainee in A Center at their medical surgical ward and the medical intensive care unit for a total of eight months. Afterwards, I completed the post graduate training at XYZ Institute for four months and was subsequently employed in the same institution. During my clinical experience, I honed my skills on assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation pertaining to various disciplines that enables me to provide safe and quality patient centred care. Communicating effectively with patients', relatives' and other members of the health care work team aided me to be able to provide the utmost client-focused care.

I feel with my values, critical thinking and work ethic, I can contribute every effort towards our mutual goal of bringing quality health care to clients' from all walks of life. Enclosed is my resume along with other pertinent documents. I look forward to hear from you.

Sincerely,

Me

I also have a couple of questions, this particular hospital I'm applying to caters more on the low socio-economic background. I don't quite know how I can explain that with my three years working experience, i was able to handle diverse patients from all walks of life. How can i also properly convey that I have come far from being a fresh graduate and improved myself professionally?

Thank you so much for the help on the previous posts, its just i would like for someone to read this over and comment on where I can improve this more.

Thank you again!
