I haven't been able to find much of anything on tape or CD/Rom. I thought surely that they would make most of the nursing textbooks in an audio format for the vision impaired. As a busy nursing student, I'm looking to maximize my one hour commute and workout time each day. Is there anything out there like this?

I downloaded some peds chapters from here. Haven't listened yet, so can't say how good they are yet:

Also, I record class lectures with my iPod and listen when I commute or work around the house.
Good luck!
