Anyone out there have info on the school in Arecibo, PR? It is a 24 month program that begins in August.
I'd love to hear anything, thanks.

What is the registration process like?
i am sorry to say that if you havent registered yet you are probably not going to be able to be in a class. We were in a classroom registering alot of students by paper and pen alot of the classes were full like my fundamentals class was returned 3 times because it was full and they had to make room for me in a full class. I mean it was cray maybe because i went the orientation day but i am glad i did because if not i wouldnt of been able to pick the times and classes i did. At the end there were full classes and since there was nowhere else to place the student they just crossed the class of the students schedule. My friend who came with me got accepted that same day. The admissions lady ******* something said that unless you had a degree the regular nursing was full.!!!

Ok this I don't quite understand. I need to get into those classes. Are u in the accelerated track or regular track? Are the nursing classes for the accelerated track still open?

But what this lady in admissions does not know is the nursing dept will just keep adding classes. NO ONE will be turned away. And the classes you were referring to that were full were probably the clinicals. Since each clinical has only 10 people they fill up fast. And if there was an orientation and a ton of people registering at one time then different advisors may assign the same 10 class clinical and by the time you wait in line for a couple hours at registration that clinical is now full.
There will be classes for everyone and there will be people getting admitted after classes have started.
And don't stress if you have no teacher for some classes the first week. It happens pretty often, especially the first trimester of the year. In fact after the first trimester only about half the class shows up the first week of school. Since we don't get breaks between trimesters, some students make their own.
But don't worry everyone will get into their classes.

Omg I just breathed a sigh of relief...I was seriously stressing here!
Thank you for posting this! My heart dropped when I read the post about the classes being full. I gave notice at work today and I would have gone crazy.
