Has anyone been through their nursing program or in their program now? I start June 19 and was wondering what to expect and any advice.

Brush up on your algebra for a minute to get ready for drug calculations. Buy your textbooks early and get started reading. Two easy A's for you this summer.

For Fall, go back to your A&P books and drill on the sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous system, neurotransmitters. It is not possible to know too much about the endocrine system and how it affects the female reproductive cycle. I would start studying diabetes and the medications for diabetes, all the different classes of antibiotics, alzheimers, parkinsons, and the different antipsychotic drugs.
