Nursing prerequisites question...

Hi my Wife and I are considering a move to NC

Big reason is lower rental cost, ample LPN jobs, and lower higher education cost for in & out of State tuition

Have a ? pertaining to pre reqs

We tried scouring through a few of the local Tech/CC programs to see if there is a time frame on pre reqs

Up where we live in CT it's 5 years but know some States have a 10 year shelf life on pre reqs

Depends on the school. I was looking at the ABSN at UNC and at first it was 10 years for science classes and now it is 5, I believe. The non-science classes I don't believe have a time limit. 

I went into an ADN program in 2010 after a biology degree in 1995 and a masters in teaching in 2005. I think I only had to take a human A&P (I was pre-vet so I had animal physiology and comparative vertebrate anatomy) and an adult psychology/development as my classes were geared toward children.
