Lionsville 800 Medication Cart Keypad

Nurses Medications

Published

Hi--I'm volunteering at a hospital in Ecuador where we've received a donation of several old Lionsville 800 medication carts. They are the kind that plug into the wall and lock all the drawers automatically after about a minute of being unlocked. We have a key for each cart, but it would be much better if we could use the keypad to enter a passcode so all the nurses could open them, not just the one person with the key. Does anyone know how to reset the code on these? No matter what buttons I push I can't open the cart or figure out how to reset the code. Thanks for any help!!! --Volunteer RN

I don't have experience with this med cart, but do have experience with similar type devices. You need to contact the manufacturer. They will have a way to "reset the device to factory defaults." You can then use the factory default pass code to set a unique passcode for your facility.

If you go to Medication Management | Metro.com you will see a tab for support. Select that tab.

For Latin America, the support is email

[email protected]

If they can't answer your question, they should be able to point you to someone who can.

Thank you for your helpful response! I did email that contact a couple weeks ago and haven't heard back, unfortunately. Will keep hoping... :) Thanks!
