UTICA College Reviews

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

Hi, I am interested in finding more information about this program. I am seriously considering applying for my BSN here because they take most of my credits, and its completely online. Does anyone have feedback that they could share with me? Is tehre anyone in the program or a gradute that is willing to share their experience, or offer tips? How manageable is the class while working full time and having family?

Thank you any and all that have input to offer.

lifesaver320 - thanks so much for the info, it's nice to hear something at least semi-positive about the program... I was wondering if you know if there's a certain day of the week that generally is used for the on site exams, or if it varies? I too am attempting to work at least part time and complete the program, so I'm trying to figure out what kind of schedule I might be able to have. Thanks again so much for the feedback you've offered!

Hello,

I was just accepted to the Utica accelerated program for second degree students. I will be attending the St Petersburg campus. I was told that I could start in August or January after finishing an Ethics class. All of the other reputable schools have extensive wait lists. I will be re-locating from Texas with my family. With all of the negative reviews I have started to reconsider this decision. Is there anyone in the program that has had a fairly positive experience. The program is quite expensive and based on the feedback not worth the cost. Thoughts???

Hi all, I was seriously considering this program for Fall '16. Has anyone been in the program more recently? have there been any changes made, or has anyone had a good experience. It seems like there are only bad reviews. This can be expected from any accelerated program though there must also be someone that is positive about it!

Everyone is miserable here. Our teachers are just the worst. The fact that they accept highschool kids basically really brings down the place. They don't know how to act in class and it just feels like a day care center. We get yelled at all the time because half the class can not make it back from lunch on time or they are acting like frat boys talking over the professor. No one has any control over anything here. It's really as bad as they say it is. I'm looking to transfer anywhere and just get out of here. Our clinicals are a joke they stick us there on the weekends when nothing is going on and the nursing staff wants nothing to do with us so we are just basically standing around all day doing nothing. I really hate it here anything the advisor told me was a huge lie.

Thanks, I appreciate the firsthand feedback!

I'm curious....how can they accept high school students if its a SECOND BACHELORS degree program?
