I'm excited to see more people enrolling! I've submitted for August start date. Ill post back once I know when I start.

We will have to keep in touch if both officially start in August. I think the biggest thing for me is the lack of reviews from previous students it makes it hard to know for sure if the program is as good as it looks;)

Yup, I saw StephaniieRN3 also is to start in August. I found out last night I'm in for Aug. too but I haven't talked to an Admissions or Program person yet re: course transfers. I'm taking Stats now at my local community college. I think that's all I need extra.

I'd like to have a study- buddy group going so lets stay in touch everyone!

That would be nice to have a group! I will likely need college algebra, history, English lit ...I'm gonna try and clep test outta all those. And then that computer lit class (univ 200 I believe) that they make everyone take.

I will be following this thread closely, as I am also interested in applying to this program. I am in an Associates program and will be finishing in December of this year, so this might be the next step.

Any updates on how the program is going for those that have started.....

ivetaj and StefaniRN3,

I see that both of you were to start on the 1st. Did you? How does it seem to be? I'd really appreciate it if you could update here from time to time. I'm considering starting there in October and would like some input from students in the know. TIA.

HeatherT1, KaLynRN and future_anesthetist, will you do the same after you start?

I just got my acceptance email and a proposed course of study. they have me starting in august 2013 and not finishing until June 2015. :( also, they require speech comm, and I kind of refuse to take that....i have a ba in english lit and really will not take anymore communication or lit classes. so now i'm not sure about this program.

KaLynRN your course of study is very different from the one year they list then! Do you need to take classes other than nursing?

Yes- statistics, college algebra, and their computer literacy class ( which sounds like a bs class.). I'm taking stats now - BSN or msn both require it so I'm taking it. The other BSN programs I've researched ether require speech or chemistry for the health profession. I would have take chem as I only have intro to chem- and chem for health professions is a 2 semester sequence :( so it's kind of like apples or oranges ~go with a program and take speech or go with another and take chemistry. I wish we had feedback on the program to hear if the classes are worth it.

(I still really like the fact their classes are 7 wk long!)

Hi Everyone

This is why I am keep procrastinating, because stupid classes!! The program classes are not that bad but all the pre req is the killer.

I am trying to get in the class of Aug 2013, lets see!!!! all my pre req I have 142 credit hours for my ADN.

Is anyone in the program or completed the program at University of Louisiana Lafayette. I'm interested to hear how intense the program is? I am considering applying but I haven't really heard any feedback from students who are currently in the program. Thank you
