RN to BSN Online Program - Bridging

  1. Hi, I'm a Canadian who works as a Associate RN in the US. I got my schooling in Canada and was able to write the NCLEX-RN exam and get my Michigan license and eventually my Arizona license. I work in the US now and commute back and forth from Canada.

I now want to go back to school and get my BSN in nursing. I recently started an application and was denied because of my status (I needed a US address since I'm not a resident/US citizen) in the US? I was wondering if any Canadians have gone through the online program and how they did it.

My question basically is do I need papers to work, go to school and live in the States or can I just find a place in the States and go to work and study?

I do have to cross the border and the officers will ask all sorts of questions regarding validation so I'm trying to get as much information as possible and have all the necessary papers (if needed).

Please let me know as soon as possible.

    Thank you.
