I applied to Kingwood's quest online nursing program for fall of 2011. Can anyone tell me who's gone through the program what the typical schedule looks like? I know that they said that it is a more flexible schedule. Also, does anyone know what the cut off score was for the last time that they offered this program? I am anxious while I wait to hear back.:lol2:

one last thing...i promise... did you originally apply for the transition or for the second degree program? I applied to the second degree program. I know that they extended the original application period for the transition program due to lack of applicants.

This fall there were two programs that Kingwood was offering. They were offering the tradiational face to face program transition program for those who are LVNs etc. The other program that they were offering was the Quest Online nursing program. For the Quest online program they were going to accept a total of 80 students. Of those 80 students, 40 were going to be accepted for the transition program and 40 students were going to be accepted for the second degree program. Apparantly, there were not enough applicants for the online transition program, which is why those who applied to that portion received a phone call stating that they could either opt to apply to the face to face transition program or the second degree online accelerated option.

Oh...now that makes sense. Sorry for freaking everyone out. I'm a Paramedic and was applying to the Quest transition program. I guess the 15 month second degree program is the option I ended up choosing. See everyone at orientation.

Hey can you PM me any info you know about the Quest 2nd Degree online program? Are you currently enrolled? What is your schedule like? I am a single mom of a 9 mo old baby...and I'm wondering if this option would be better for me? I bet it saves on gas! What are your pros and cons of the Quest Program?
