Excelsior? Which guides/books on e-bay?

Nursing Students Online Learning

I know we don't HAVE to buy any extra stuff to study for the NC1-7 exmas.

Still I've heard great things about a few of teh study programs that people sell on e-bay.

Which ones are the best?

Who is Lisa Arend's?

How can I get the notes from Studygroup101?

What else do you recommend?

Thanks a bunch!

Well, I'm up to Nursing Concepts 6 now, and I still firmly believe in following the Excelsior study guide and looking at all the recommended reading. But this is also the first exam that I've bought the Lisa Arends notes for, and I must admit I like them a lot. The CD for each exam is about $10, and I got it maybe 3 days after I ordered it. I wouldn't use that alone, but it's great with the regular reading. Just go to ebay and type in Lias Arends, and it comes up right away.

A couple of links -- Lisa Arends and Studygroup101 on eBay:

Both have excellent materials. Studygroup101 has updated their guides for 2007. Lisa's notes are still good, even though they're from a couple of years ago. I've been using both for my studies -- I love to have multiple sources from which to study, so they're great for me!

Thanks!

I just love allnurses!

p.s. Are the Chancellor guides any good?

p.s. Are the Chancellor guides any good?

I like them a lot because they come with audio -- I have a long-ish commute (2 hours round-trip three days a week), and I can "study" while I drive. (I'll admit, the narrator's pronunciation of some medical terms makes me want to strangle him, but I recognize that I'm a bit of a stickler. :D )

I have a feeling that the Chancellor's guides are very similar to The College Network guides, but TCN doesn't have audio. I used TCN for A&P, and it was great.
