Please do anyone knows what it is like to live and work in northern BC as a Nurse and career growth. Is there any nurse currently working in northern health like in Prince George. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you.

I used to work as a Community Health and Home Care nurse in Northern BC (way north of Prince George) and I loved my time there, but I didn't have family to go with me so I didn't feel that I could stay longer away from my family and friends. There are plenty of opportunities as they are constantly in need of nurses.

The Winter weather and remoteness could be isolating, but the nature there is absolutely beautiful !

I used to work in fort Nelson! I loved it. People are awesome and town is beautiful. If you like the outdoors. The town has taken a hit with all that’s going on with the pipeline and not sure the changes since I left.
