:confused:I have been an LPN for about 14 yrs now, got my license in nj and relocated to az about 4 yrs ago. I spent most of my nursing career in ltc and have been doin hospice for 3 yrs now and i love it. I have learned so much about palliative care and realize thats what i want to do.
I have received a complaint on nursing license ...probably from a disgruntled employee from the company i work for ...she did not leave on good terms and attempted to tarnish the name of our director of clinical services before she left so they pretty much gave her an ultimatum either she leave or get fired. Both me and my DCS have received complaints against our license even after the company did their own investigation and found her complaints against our DCS unfounded.
This nurse has a strong history that she bragged to me about reporting facilities to the state and etc....Why do people feel the need to hurt people?
Her allegations are not true, I have never lied to get medications for a patient, I have never falsified documentation and in the letter she gives no specific situations just general complaints....I am really really sad and it hurts me as i love what i do so much....I just am not the type or person to retaliate......
She proclaims to be on a mission from God to save people....Is this what Gods people do??....deliberately and methodically attempt to destroy others?:....I think not..My God is a loving forgiving God....I dont know what God she serves but they r not the same.
Anyway....please keep me in prayer...any advice would be helpful

Geez. Sorry, hon.
My experience, these nutjobs that claim to be on a "mission from God" are some of the most un-Godlike persons you'll ever meet. How she is acting and what she is doing is not the way God wants us to act, or it's not what I was taught, anyway, and I grew up in the buckle of the Bible Belt. Sounds like a classic case of sour grapes to me.
Do you have an attorney? That would help you tremendously. In cases like this, unless I am mistaken, unless there is proof, and I mean proof, nothing will come of it. The headache is not fun, though. Good luck.

Misery loves company! Its sad that there are people like this out there that feel the need to pull others down with them.... Just find solace in the fact that these are false accusations and you should have nothing to worry about.
Im sorry this has happened to you, that must be a really crummy feeling. I wish you the best. :redbeathe

It sounds as though your current employer would be supportive of you in this instance. You may want to contact a lawyer and have them work with you in asking your company to support the facts and the circumstances leading up to this if it is reviewed by the board.

if you have the stomach for it, i would ask about pursuing action for libel.....
My employer is very supportive of both me and my DCS , he has already contacted BON and already has his attorneys involved...Thank goodness which does make me feel better for the support.

Is she delusional? You must be frustrated and angry. I just wanted to send peace of mind and support.
I hope everything is worked out NOW, and she gets it for falsifying accusations. What goes around, comes around.
