I have a lot of interviews this week and next week.

  1. I have 5 interviews scheduled in the next few days... Hopefully I will get some offers..
I'd be happy in any of these positions, but I want some more than others due to specialties, distance, etc...
So if I got an offer from a unit, and I still haven't heard back from the others, would it be appropriate to call the unit manager and tell them I have a job offer, but I still really would rather work for them?

I know this is only a potential problem, assuming I get any offers at all. But I'd like to be prepared.

No. Do not mention that are interviewing or have other offers on hand even in passing. Makes you seem uninterested and can affect your status as a candidate. You want each job to think that they are "it" for you.

On the contrary, if you do then it would look like you are in demand and hospitals need to compete to get you. I did that and had all of them offering me a job and you could be in a potentially good place to negotiate your salary. Lol
