I am currently a student in the MSN Nursing Informatics program at Western Governors University (WGU) and am actively seeking a preceptor to support my practicum and capstone project.

The ideal preceptor will:
- be a Master's prepared (or higher) RN with an active license in the U.S.
- hold an unencumbered license in the state where the Host Site is located or hold a multi-state license in another state, which allows Preceptor to practice in your Host Site state.
- have 2 years or more experience with health informatics.

WGU is flexible in that there is no requirement for me to shadow or for any specific time meeting face-to-face. The preceptor and I can communicate virtually or in person. Whatever works best for them!

I am a Master of Health Informatics student and will be starting the final class in November. I am struggling to get a hold of the major hospitals in my area and the school will not help at all. I believe it is OK to do this virtually. The preceptor must have at least a Master's in Informatics or a related field, and a minimum of two years of experience. Would anyone be willing to be a preceptor, or know where else I can look? I truly cannot even get a hold of people by phone. Thank you for any help.

     I know these posts pop up every other day but I am in need of a Informatics preceptor in the NYC area. The preceptorship would be completely over the phone and I would never have to meet in the person. Mentor must have direct supervision of personnel in the informatics areas within the organization (I.e., manager, director, executive director, VP, CNIO, Assistant CNIO, CNIQO, innovation VP). In addition, the mentor should have organizational responsibility for assigning large scale organization wide projects. 

I am looking for a Nursing Informatics preceptor for my final practicum at Thomas Edison State University in NJ. It's an 8-week course, a total of 100 hours, approximately 10 hours a week. It's a course that's offered every 8 weeks, beginning 1/6/25. 

The preceptor must be a Registered Nurse, and masters prepared (e.g. MSN, MBA, MHA, MA, MS) or doctorally prepared (e.g. PhD, DNP, EdD, DNS, DHSc). 

If you are in the MSN Nursing Informatics Program, your Preceptor must have at least 2 years experience working with health informatics.
