hi oobie,

registration to SRNA took me 4 months i hope, i passed my requirements last december and got their email regarding completion of requirements such as verification from previous employer. i was told that the processing will take 6 weeks before releasing my graduate nurse license and application for the CRNE. for now im waiting for my visa and my SRNA, hopefully everything will turn out well and will leave by april. goodluck.

Thank you very much. How long will the SRNA email you after you mailed them your application? I already sent the application plus the payment for the assessment 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for their email. Thank you again

to sknurse07 and babyjr,

do you have employer.? im planning yo apply in srna but i dont have employer and i doubt i can have one for a reason that i have 0 experience. can u share your itinerary plan applying in srna so i have guide ?

Im a RN in Philippines and US but due to retrogression that will take up to 5 years, Im thinking of other ways . . .

We had an active group going to Saskatchewan post here. Then the took the CRNE and never came back. I have heard many did not pass the Canadian Boards, some have been in Canada since May 2008 and still have temp licenses. Several nurses were deported off the bat.

Other Canadian Provinces are doing a complete assessment of all IEN nurses, I would not be surprised to see SK adopt this practice.

On the other hand more Philippine Nurses are coming to Regina

It seems like they are meeting their goal for IENs . Most recruited were experienced nurses.

Best of Luck.

I don't have an employer yet. but a friend of my dad, who is a nurse in canada will be looking for an employer for me. you can try to apply at mercanrecruit.com.

Why don't you just go straight to the health authorities and apply?

do you know their websites? are you also applying in saskatchewan?

Research and google will give you all the info you need
