    I'm not a new nurse. I've been working in the trenches of bedside for over 10 years. I'm utterly confused. I don't know you are going on about ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Just being silly...just a backwards weird complement for people's twisted creative sense of humor!

    You're right on, with 8:1 either they staff you so the ratio improves or it's no help at all. 5:1 in Tele step down was terrible enough for me! I can't even imagine having 8 inpatients!
