nurse educator exam? or credentialing?

  1. Hello everyone! I pray each of you are having a wonderful Wednesday. I am writing because I have a question concerning whether or not there is a nurse educator exam? I am researching on-line programs for MSN w/ nursing education focus. (thanks to you I have some great ones to look into) Upon graduating from a program I understand that I will have a MSN with education focus; does that automatically make me a certified nurse educator? Thank you!

Welcome to the Nursing Educators Forum ! Upon successful completion of a MSN program with a concentration in nursing education, you may be eligible to sit for the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) examination. Successful completion of MSN-Nursing Educator program in and of itself does not make one certified; certification is an entirely different process. For more details on the CNE, please see this thread: https://allnurses.com/forums/f17/cer...on-166557.html
    Best wishes to you
