Dear Nurse Beth
Can you still be a nurse if you have done adult photos? I haven't done Media but lots of nudes as I am proud of my body.
Dear Nude Photos
You don't say whether your photos are published or posted on the internet. I'm assuming yes, since you asked the question.
I think if an employer or nursing school were aware that you have lots of published nudes out there, then yes, it could affect your chances of being accepted or hired. The reason is that nursing is generally conservative, and nurses are accorded traditional values.
I'm not making a value judgement about you by any means. I am saying that nursing colleges and hospitals do not want any kind of sensationalistic attention.

That's too bad. I'm a fine art male nude photographer and I have no problem doing this. Do you believe a male nurse would have the same difficulties? Even if the photos are in good taste with no frontal nudity? Somehow I doubt it? Don't you love double standards?
I really don't know if tasteful male nude photos would hinder a nursing career or not.
I'm visualizing some beautiful art-like photos that absolutely would not. Then again if they are suggestive, and a school or employer were aware of them, and had a choice to select/hire many other candidates...it's a possibility and could be considered a risk.
Best is to move ahead with your passion. If you are really wanting to pursue nursing, then go for it. You will find a way. Best wishes

I was a nude model for the art department in college. There is a difference between this and other types of nude pictures that may be floating around the internet.
