I was recently watched by a surveyor to hang an iv. I had to prime the tubing and everything. I put all the supplies on the table. Should I have out a paper barrier down? She didn't say anything to me and she left before I even washed my hands when I was done. Should I be worried?

Is putting a paper barrier down before priming IV tubing considered best practice where you work? I've never heard of or seen it done, and I can't imagine a rationale for it. If you didn't do something you know you're supposed to as policy or best practice, worry. If not, don't.
