New job- old job PRN?

I'm not happy at my current job- but I love my coworkers! I did get another job and have out in my two week notice. Today (three days after the notice) the CNOs secretary came over to ask me if I would be willing to consider going PRN instead of just leaving. I told her I would have to talk to the CNO to see what her definition of PRN is. I don't like the drive, I don't like our director...but our director is leaving!!! And I can tolerate the drive a limited amount of the time to be with my coworkers.

How many of you do PRN and full time elsewhere? How do you deal with it? How often do you work the PRN spot?
