nursing in austin ER

I am a Canadian nurse hoping to relocate to Austin .I was wondering if anyone worked in ER in any of the Austin hospitals ...perhaps you could give me some advice. I may go with a travel nurse agency ...i have 10 years of experience but most of it is in Peds.I would like to try adults again. What should I expect in terms of wages ....is there a demand for nurses in the area? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks

Sorry but I can't answer your question, cause I have one of my own. I was reading your post and noticed that you work for a travel nurse agency. I was thinking about going into that as I want to travel when I get my nurses license. If you could give my any information about that I would be so happy. Like do you enjoy it? How long do you usually stay in one spot? Where have you gone so far? Just any info...would help, cause I'm only a junior in high school and it is just another path I want to look into.
