Pennsylvania official's task: Solve healthcare

  1. Ed Rendell's first official action after his inauguration as governor of Pennsylvania was to sign an executive order creating the Office of Health Care Reform. That left Rosemarie Greco with a job of tying together six state agencies in an effort to move the state's healthcare reform forward.

Interesting, hope they get something accomplished. I have been watching some real interesting state budget hearings about healthcare issues. Also, that Biz journal site is pretty cool isn't it. I should go there more often.

PS I noticed this woman at several of the hearing that had such a knowledge of what was going on in healthcare in Pa that it knocked my socks off. I wonder if it was her, I tried to commit her name to memory at the time because I had a feeling I would be needing to know it. However, it did not stick.
