1. I am a recent graduate (5/06) I was offered a charge nurse position at a privatly owned senior living/assisted living facility. I am the charge for PM's and e/o weekedn 7p-7a. I oversee all of the HHA and assist as needed rounds, ect. Problem, i had to write up 2 men for refusing to do as I as charge nurse asked ( cover another person) in addition, there is 1 male who has made sexual comments and hugged/tried to kiss me on 2 occasions. When he recieved the first write up for leaving w/o punching out, he called and yelled at me 2 times. Because these men had such a frenzy about getting written up, I had to call and apologize and they shredded the write up's. I today have to turn in the sexual harrasment form, it has been suggested that I write it up but put it aside and if something else happens then give it to him. I am working this weekend with man and it is a 4 building facility, he is the only HHA in that building, I am required to do rounds, but am not comfortable with being alone with him. The owner is always around during the day but is now mad at me because of the write up. I do not know what to do, I like the job and really live paycheck to paycheck, I really need advise soon.
    Any help is appreciated.

start looking for a new job! harrasment should not be accepted nor allowed by anyone!!!you do not need that type of manager!or owner if no one is listening to you.
I would start looking around in the same field!
    good luck!

This is illegal. By law they are required to address any report of sexual harrassment. Go at once to an attorney or your state labor board.
