Nurses' exodus costs $3.6m - Fiji

THE resignation and migration of 36 experienced nurses this year means a $3.6million loss for the Ministry of Health.

This calculation is based on an estimated loss that the Government incurs every time a nurse migrates. It is contained in the findings of Fiji School of Medicine researchers last year plus recent statistics in the Health Ministry.
