Suppose you are your patient. Would you agree or disagree that you currently have a healthy lifestyle?
Why or why not?

I struggle with it sometimes and the reasons I do are complicated. I have peaks and valleys in my healthy lifestyle. At the moment, I'm at a peak so my answer for this week is yes. :)
I think I do o.k.

Weeeeellll...I exercise. And sometimes I even eat right. Other times (most of the time) I eat too much or not enough. And I have a lot of stress that I pretend I don't have. So I guess all things considered, no.

Yes I do.....And am always looking for new ways to even be better. Eat yogurt and salads daily, drink about 10 glasses of h2o a day, limit soda and coffee, not into sweets but maybe my one downfall is every once in a while I like a bag of chips. Exercise daily, usually for 30 minutes.

Wow! I'm surprised that the pole had so many nurses healthy. Usually what I hear is that nurses don't get to the doctor until they are close to death. I'm glad that's not the case; at least on allnurses .

Yoga and treadmill 4-5 times a week.
Swim once a week.
Vegetarian dinner.
Protein-filled breakfast (since i never know when or if i'll get a lunch)
Water to drink, except for lunch, which is a clear soda.
Wine once a week.
I could go on, but eating crappy leaves me feeling crappy.

I live a healthy lifestyle and I encourage my friends, family, and patients to do the same...keep fit physically and mentally, stay away from drugs, alcohol, too much food...etc. I think moderation is the key -- too much or too little is not good in life. It may sound like a simple way to explain things but it works for me.

Being healthy is work! Making it a lifestyle is the commitment everyone runs from. It is not fast and easy. As all I have good weeks and bad but over all I feel good due to eating better than I ever have and working out more consistantly. I took up running and have a love/hate relationship with it. Most of the time I love it. It keeps me sane!
