Nurse from Uraguay. Where to start?

Hello I have a sister in Uruguay, she is a nurse with a specialization in Critical care she is planning to come to Miami Florida, what kind of tests and other specifications that she need to take in order to get sponsored ?

Moved to a post on it's own as you had posted in a thread nearly 3 years old.

Welcome. Starting point would be the sticky called Primer to working in the USA. Would also suggest threads on retrogression as she will be affected. Also worth looking at the Florida board of nursing website as all information regarding what she has to do to meet requirements. She will need to sit and pass NCLEX before anyone will petition her for a GC and we have a great NCLEX forum in the student section she may find useful. There are a few threads on FLorida so worthy on using the search facility

And she also needs to have the CES done before FL will grant permission to sit for the exam.
