I was wondering. If I’ve signed a contract for a hospital and I am interviewing for a nurse residency program in the ED and Peds ED, am I more likely to get the job over someone who has not signed the contract?

Sorry, I am not following. Are you saying you signed a contract but don't have a job offer?

Or that you signed a contract into the residency and it remains to be seen where you'll be placed?

Then I'm still confused because if the latter, then only applicants who signed a contract will be interviewing for a residency position in ED so you're all on equal footing.

Either way, hone your interview skills and best wishes 🙂
