Verification of License from Saudi Arabia

Hi everyone! I am currently waiting for my CES (Credentials Evaluation Service) report from CGFNS so I can go ahead and apply for licensure here in Tx. CGFNS already received all the requirements except this VOL (Verification of License) from Saudi Arabia. Last March 29,2015, when I called SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) I was informed that they no longer process the VOL due to the large number of organizations outside KSA requesting them to fill up this forms. And that the Certificate of Good Standing which they currently issue via their website is valid and enough to verify the license. They also emailed me the announcement letter that says so. I called CGFNS the next day and informed them about it, I was told they are not aware of this matter and that they're going to investigate and see why SCFHS had stopped this process. So I waited, after a week I called them again and they responded that they are already aware of this problem and that they have people working on this matter and communicating with SCFHS. Until now they still tell me the same.

I stressed out the Certificate of Good Standing which CGFNS said they accept but it has to come directly from SCFHS. The problem now is when I called SCFHS, I was told that it is an automated process and that I have to register in their website, provide a valid email where they can send the certificate after payment. And that it is their only way to provide me the certificate as they don't and never send this certificates via a post mail. Now Im getting really sad about all this and don't know what to do next. Is anyone here in the same dilemma I'm in? I need help... :cry:

Hi Edz, we have the same dilemma. until now I'm stuck with this Registration verification forms for NNAS. same with you,the SCFHS already sent my Good standing certificate along with the new policy announcement letter. But they email me that it has to be sent from Scfhs directly to NNAS. I'm still figuring out what will I do...PLSss. can someone help me regarding this matter.

Hi Chu08! That's exactly my problem too.. There's a conflict between SCFHS and for me CGFNS.. At first, SCFHS told me they can only send the Certificate of Good Standing via email after you registered and paid for it. Which CGFNS also said that they don't accept an email but a post mail directly from them.. So I was really stuck between these two orgs. Anyway, CGFNS kept telling me that they're already aware of this problem and that they are finding a solution to solve this issue. It's been like a month and they keep telling me the same! Of course I can't wait forever. Time is running. So I again called SCFHS and pleaded if they can send my Certificate via post mail. And then they finally agreed! She told me to register first on their website to get my certificate and after I printed it out, I have to send it to them via FedEx. Also include a letter stating the address to where they have to send it, a receipt of 150SAR transfer to their account and a copy of Saudi license. So that's what I did, and now I'm on the process of following it up to them if they have already sent it to CGFNS. I am actually still facing a problem because when I called them yesterday, they told me they haven't received anything and that I have to send another again.. Duh!! I said no way.. That cannot be. According to fedex proof of delivery, it was delivered May 3 and received by someone in there. She told me again to call after 2 days. And now I just want to be positive on this coz this is my last resort.. I'm praying this will work. Try to call SCFHS again.. :)

Hi Edz86...I am having the same problem too with regards to my visa screen renewal.I have worked in KSA for 5 years and I need a validation of license from SCFHS wherein a good standing certificate from them would be enough for the license validation process.I already got a copy of the good standing certificate in pdf form which I paid 300sr thru my friend who is still working in KSA. Do we need to pay another 150 sr aside from the 300sr we paid in getting the certificate?Are you still in KSA?If you are already in the Philippines,how did you manage to pay the 150sr and can u please send me the account details of SCFHS in case I need to pay another 150sr again .Please...thanks a lot...God bless

Hello there leinard24! Unfortunately, yes.. You have to pay another 150SAR which is actually the courier fee for SCFHS to send your certificate to the organization you want them to send to. 300SR is only for the certificate. Anyway, I've already left KSA in 2012. So for outside KSA applicants like us, you have to make a wire transfer of the said amount to their Bank which is NCB (National Commercial Bank) Account Holder is of course SCFHS. Account # 20159007001306. IBAN Code: SA1210000020159007001306. And that's it! After making your transaction, be sure to get a receipt coz you'll need to include that with your certificate which you'll send them via fedex or whatever courier you want. Don't forget to save a copy of the receipt for your own record in case something happens. You can check their website http://www.scfhs.org.sa for additional infos.. There is a customer service no. that you will be calling soon after you have sent your docs, you have to call that number to follow up on your request.. I myself have been calling them every 2-3days to followup on mine. It's almost 3 weeks already, hoping for a good news this week coz from other forums I've read, it took them more than 2wks too. :) Good luck to u!

You're welcome leinard24.. Sorry I can't help you with which bank there in the Philippines as i already live here in the states. I think BDO will do or BPI.. Those are the most reliable banks i know so far coz I have held accounts with them before and i think they do international wire transfers as well. Just tell them that you want to transfer 150SAR and it'll depend on the current exchange rates on how much peso you'll owe them. Remember that there would be a transfer fee too. Here I paid $25 wire fee plus the 150SAR which was like $42 at that time. So I paid $67 something in total. So basically you'll have an idea on how much it'll cost you. ;)
