RN license endorsement in NC!

Hello,

I am a foreign educated nurse. I initially got my RN license from New York. I am currently in Montana and I have a RN license in Montana via endorsement. I am moving to North Carolina with my family in about a month and I need more information on RN license via endorsement in North Carolina. One of the requirement for initial licensure for foreign graduates in NC was the CES report from CGFNS. Is it required for my endorsement process too? It was not required for the endorsement here in Montana. I have already done the CVS for NY state through CGFNS and it took a lot of time. I am really not looking forward to go through that again for CES report in NC. If any one knows more about it, Please help!

Moved to the Nurse Registration forum as many US nurses are not aware of Internationally trained nurses and endorsing. Best bet is to contact the BON and ask

Hi KKr07, Did you go through the process to NC endorsement? I'm on the same boat and NC BON is asking for CES? Any idea is helpful. Thanks.
