hi all,i am after recieving letter from anbord for an adaptation programme to get registred with anbord.any1 who experienced the same?????if so what the adaptation is like and whom to approach?any information about hospital provides adaptation or any agencies to assist u with??any replies much appreciated.

I am from ireland and have worked there as a midwife i never heard of this adaption programme. Contact the borad and ask them. www.anbordaltranais.com they will assist you.

hi liz thanks a mill for ur reply......it is introduced from 2007 onwards for the internationally educated nurses,anbord altranais gave me a list of hospitals who provide adaptation programme and assesment but almost all of them whom i called are not giving adaptation programme at this point of time.having an hard time like..

Hi , I had the same difficulty.to do adaptation in Ireland you need to find yourself an employer In Ireland first.i did this by emailing my cv with decision letter to different employers I found in the Internet.search for nursing jobs in Ireland or nursing homes in Ireland and email dyour cv to there hr email.then it's the employer who finds you placement for adaptation. My employer applied two months ago and still I have got no reply from them.
