It can vary. They can take up to 14 days to be scanned and uploaded onto your application. If you're ever concerned, give them a call. It'll also be good to know they haven't lost or misplaced it. But yeah, NMC is notorious at being a roller coaster with their times. Sometimes they are quick, and other times.. really slow. Best of luck!

    Hi everyone,
I seem to have a peculiar situation here. Has anyone ever had a discrepancy in date of birth that was submitted to NMC? I just found out my year of birth with my country's nursing council is two years younger than me. An error I think was committed by the person who helped with applying for registration as I was away at the time. I have tried to initiate a correction process with no luck and they have said it is the wrong age that will be sent to NMC on my registration verification document. I am very worried it will affect my DL with NMC. Can anyone suggest to me what to do ?

Please note that there is no way to verify one's DOB with our council except one applies for verification hence my just finding out after 9 years

Hi there. I have never heard of this issue but I think your best bet is emailing NMC or calling them. Tell them the issue and see what they say. They may just ask your council for a declaration of the mistake or for another verification certificate. Otherwise, can you ask the council to fix your DOB and then you can resend the verification? There are a few solutions but its best you ask NMC which they will accept so you dont go around in circles (:

    Thank you Snownursee,
The major issue is that the council in my country has said the only condition where they will change the DOB is if the error is from them. Unfortunately it is indirectly from me. If NMC should ask the council to declare it as a mistake I doubt they will for this reason. I really don't know what other options are available. All my other documents including my birth certificate and other academic credentials bear my correct DOB.
I think I will give NMC a call as you suggested.
    Thank you

Then if you let the NMC know that and perhaps they will simply ask a declaration from you (: I had to do something similar with some of my clinical hours breakdown paperwork.
    I wish you the best!

Hi Fellow Nurses! I have been reading forums about NMC Decision Letters and thankfully was led to this thread. Seems like the NMC has hastened their assessment process as evidenced by some of your testimonials here. I am looking forward to my DL on the last week of August or first week of September, God willing! Your stories have encouraged me to stretch my patience and never give up. Thank you for those who have spent time answering queries and I hope you will still be around should some issues arise on my end (hopefully there'll be none!). I'm constantly praying for a positive result.

Here is my timeline so far:
    APRIL 6 - PASSED IELTS
    JUNE 6 - PASSED CBT
JULY 27 - PUT ON QUEUE

It is a matter of waiting, really. Please keep praying for us who are still waiting and aiming to become a UKRN someday!

    Best Regards,
    Klara

Hi. Mine was put on queue on July 27 also. I hope we will get our dl without delays.

    Hi Guys!
I need some help here. I already received my DL, then I'm waiting for my COS recently. However, I was told that the trust hold mine yet because they got some problems with my references. They are asking for some declaration or something that can prove his or her position ( say being a supervisor is above from the head nurse) from mine.
Has anyone encountered this or does anyone have some sample format or how do I go about this one because my current employer doesn't know how to?
    Thanks for your time!
    God bless to everyone!

Hi! I haven't experienced it, but I believe a declaration from the HR would suffice. What is your position (and your superior's) exactly? Senior and junior nurse?

    Hello guys!
i am new here and I have been reading the thread for a couple of days now
I sent all my docs to the NMC and was received by the office last JUNE 15, 2018.
I checked the online portal once in a while and saw that they received all my documents on time.
started counting 30 working days since then but no feedback received.

I called the NMC regarding my application and the officer told me that I had one document missing
which was my masters, I gave them the tracking number and all the other details and told me to call them
after a week or so. Sadly, when I called back I was told that there was no update and assessment hasn't even started.. huhuhuhu
The operator told me to email all the pertinent details with regards to my courier and tracking number,
thankfully they emailed me after a few hours and that they have began expediting my files and needed to re scan my missing docs.

I was emailed today that they have only started the assessment since August 8, 2018 and I should have a reply after 30-60 working days.
I hope that they would assess it faster coz I am more than a month delayed already with my processing...

does somebody have the same issue as mine?
    sorry for the long post....
