Nurse Pre-req Prices...

Hello,

I have just completed my CNA course waiting to take my state exams.

I would like to get a ball park on the pre-req prices. Can anyone tell me how much per pre-req? I have a list of the classes to take. I understand the prices might vary, I know I need to buy the books, and they are expensive (even used) Just an estimate.

I need to sit down with an adviser at Palm Beach State College. Thanks in advance!

ISBN numbers are the codes for the textbooks. classicdane was trying to tell you that you can buy cheaper textbooks online instead of the school bookstore.

Okay I understand what she was saying, But Im not looking for prices on textbooks, I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE PRICE FOR THE COURSES.

Hey, It's funny, both of us are in the same position. I am waiting to take my state CNA exam as well. I am in my last year of High School and am graduating June the 11th. In NC we can do dual enrollment while in high school and I took my PSY 150 (General Psychology) and CIS 110 (Intro to Computers), which are two of my prereqs for NS, for free. I also to AP English in the 11th grade and made a 3 on the AP test and got credti for and placed out of my first college enlgish (English 111) my AP test was $86.00. This summer I am taking 2 with a community college nearby and for 2 classes (Anat and Physiology I and ACA - Study Skills and Success - required course for all new college students-) and the price for those two were $282.00 not including my textbooks. My A&P textbook alone is $218.00 but it is for both A&P I and II. I don't evn know how much my my ACA materials will cost. I hope this helps. Hopefully We will both be entering our prescpective nursing programs Fall 2011!!!! Yay!!! Class of 2013!!!!

Thats great you knew what career choice to jump into at a young age! CONGRATS to you! By the time I get done with NS I will be around 30 years old! Im 25 now, I wish I started NS back then. Good luck on your CNA state exam. 2 of my class mates just passed theirs, one had empty a urinay drainage bag, Cath Care, ROM. Delray facility. Im going to Boca! I hope I do fine, I have hyperhydrosis (sweaty hands) I feel bad for the one thats stuck with me during skills. :uhoh3:
