Can anyone recommend a good procedures book?

  1. I would like to pick a good office procedures book for NPs in primary care. I came across "Pfenninger and Fowler's Procedures for Primary Care". A little pricey, but current and well recommended on Amazon. Anyone have any experience with that book or with any others for that matter. Also feel free to advise which books to avoid. Thanks in advance!

Yes, they are pricey, but procedure books on your desk are invaluable for learning the procedure and the followup and teaching your staff how get a good block or treat something for you. I use the Fowlers and also "Practical Guide to Joint and Soft Tissue Injection and Aspiration An Illustrated Text for Primary Care Providers" by James W McNabb MD

My FAVORITE currently reading on the bookshelf. The color images and expert information cannot be beat.
