Adult Psych NP scope of practice question

Question about scope of practice for Adult Psych NP's...can Adult Psych NP's treat adolescents? Or can only Family Psych NP's see teens? I live in Mississippi and have yet to hear from our BON on this one. Thanks!

From what I understand, and APNP can see adolescents starting from age 12 and up. I went to University of South Alabama and I was told that an APNP can see adolescents starting at this age. I had to have so many adolescent hours in my clinical requirements. I hope this helps.
