Basically waste of time and money unless you already have a job lined up. Some reason why you don't want to go to nursing school? Hard to get nursing jobs, but at least there are some available somewhere.

There are health care management positions available, but you will not walk out of school and into management position. Rather entry level positions who are not nurses are usually secretaries or work for other departments. Other departments include marketing, strategy, finance, customer service, etc.... By the way, there is nothing wrong with the degree or a career outside of nursing... but if you are becoming a nurse, you may want to get a BSN.

What do you ultimately want to do? I don't know about departments outside of the nursing realm, but if you aim to manage a nursing unit, you'll need a nursing degree.
