Hi All! First time poster. I was wondering if anyone had tips or suggestions on how to go from a Nurse II to a Nurse III? I'm coming up on my Annual Evaluation (1 Year with VA but Prior Army Nurse) and would like to have success with the NPSB! I have my MSN with 7 years of experience.

Does anyone have a Proficiency Template/Key Words that they used to help them become a Nurse III?

I'm an APN, have a masters with six years experience and started as a III. I don't know how they pick the grades. I've seen the documentation but seems somewhat subjective. IV and V are admin only positions.

Good luck!

At my VA it really depends on who sits on the boards. They rotate people all the time. Some are more stingy than others. I am trying to get my Nurse 2.
