Nurse Corps Scholarship 2018-2019

Hi Everyone, I'm planning to apply for the HRSA NurseCorp Scholarship this year. I figured I would go ahead and start the next thread for this award year. I'm currently finishing up some of my prereqs and will be starting my BSN program in June. I know the application date hasn't been released yet but from what I have seen on other threads, it should be opened sometime in March/April with a deadline in May. I've also read that the prompt questions have been the same from one award year to the next so I have begun working on them as well as trying to figure out who I would like to use as recommendations. I would love to hear from all who plan to apply this year.

My portal was just converted too!! Anybody waiting, I'd suggest checking your portal first. Mine converted like 15 mins ago but I still haven't received an official email.

So, I just checked, again, and status changed to NOT Selected! Good luck to the rest of you. Still have not received email.

Mimito- didn't you say you applied to both scholarships? I believe the other one is ahead of the nurse corps, so maybe that's why it says not selected? Not sure

So when are people applying for the next round, and which scholarships are people going to apply for?

So I just got the rejection notification. Even though my contract was countersigned I was denied as they ran out of funds. Soooo bummed right now.

Not selected. This was a complete waste of my time and taxing on my nerves. I won't apply again. I believe they new back in August who were potential recipients and holding those not selected in suspense was not right.
