Hi Everyone,
I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

Yeah mine says that too and I am a FNP I thought it was kind of weird but I just said yes because my site was correct
So, got offered an award and originally thought the amount must be the monthly amount because it was so low... turns out that was the final amount, which barely covers interest for one year. They did NOT count my consolidated loans (I used the gov website to connect where you can clearly see which loans were taken out during nursing school years). They only counted one I got in grad school which was tiny. It's a huge disappointment, as my nursing loans are around $117k but since I consolidated them a few years back, they were rejected.

Then I’m screwed too. My loans are around the same but I consolidated mine few years back as well. Only ones that aren’t are my graduate ones. Guess that’s why I haven’t been chosen last year or this year yet. And I know there’s no way to un-consolidate them now. Ugh this sucks.

I wish we could honestly have separate threads because the confusion is real. When this thread was started it was quite clear which program it included and now I’m not sure if I should be panicked or not because I don’t know if the information even pertains to me. I’m so happy everyone is responding but it would be a lot easier if there were separate threads.
I actually received an email today too. Third time was the charm? Definitely tier 1, DTI 180%, FNP at score 19 FQHC. Nurse Corps
On a side note, I was thinking I would be denied (again), so now I want to move to Dallas, TX. How easy/hard are these to transfer. The Dallas clinic score is 19 as well.

@Wsmfp88 I think we are still considered nurses though. As long as the numbers are right, they can call me what they want ????
