Hi Everyone,

I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

I just can’t imagine to lose hope yet. I read the threads from the past. Other NP here got it last year and she didn’t find out until mid August?

So I got the finalist email on 7/18 and I accepted. I was waiting waiting waiting and suddenly I saw just now that my page says "offer recalled." It say my offer has been withdrawn for administrative review.

Is anyone else in the same boat? I was pretty sure I qualified Tier 1 all the way, my credit is great, no criminal history, etc. etc., and I can't imagine what they found suddenly after months of having application and weeks of having me as a finalist.

I guess I'll call in the morning? It just seems so weird.

What kind of facility do you work at? I'm sorry that happened. Hope you get some answers

Mine says the exact same thing....I’m going to be really upset if they rescind the offer ?

I just called, the lady said that it means they cancelled the offer. I asked what happened and she said the only thing she can think of is that they offered it to too many people.

So I guess this means that’s it? They completed sending out awards?

Mine says under review. Never got selected and rescinded. That’s absolute ***. I’m so sorry. I’m hoping they aren’t all done and that it changes for the better.

Alright, I just called as well and got slightly better news. I was told that the program made an error in wording on the initial confirmation of interest (the one where we say we would like to accept the award) so they pulled that "award." She said there'd be a new confirmation of interest email sent out in the next few days.

sigh.

IDon'tWanna - are you an RN, FNP or nurse faculty?

Kourtney - same for you?

I'm still sitting with "accepted award - under final review". Nurse faculty, Tier I from a disadvantaged background with approximately DTI 210%.
