I registered NRP class. The textbook that is offered by hospital is too expensive. I want to get some suggestion for people who took NRP class. Is that possible to pass it and get certificate without textbook?

Nope. You have a pretest that you would never pass as a first time NRP-taker without the textbook. Look on half.com for a discounted one....

although you should have the textbook, it is possible to pass the course without it although you will probably have difficulty. you would probably be better served by biting the byllet and purchasing the text as the end of chapter reviews are helpful as they provide feedback on how well you understand the material that has been presented.

not having the textbook, you might find the neonatal resuscitation guidelines that were published in the 2005 american heart association guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency cardiovascular care helpful.

i hope this information is helpful. :specs:
