NPs in Virginia

Anyone here move to the state of Virginia with their NP license? Just looking for some insight into the process. From what I see, you need to apply for the RN first, then the NP after it's awarded. Is that a fair estimate of what I am reading?

Hi how/what was the process to apply for the RN VA license, I am taking my NCLEX in Jersey and want to transer my license to VA. How long did that take?

Not sure exactly what information you are seeking but that sounds about right. I would just follow the board of nursing for that state. I have three active NP licenses and they all require the base RN license.
