NP Salary for PA, NJ, DE, MD Area

Published

Without being rude, I was wondering if anyone wanted to share what a new NP could be expecting for a salary in a acute care, hospital (ER, ICU, Cardiac) or similar setting. I know this is a bit of a personal topic, but wanted to get an idea of what an NP would be making.

Specializes in Family Nurse Practitioner.

Personally I don't think it is rude at all for us to share our incomes in an effort to be transparent and support good wages for our profession so kudos however your best indicator will be the NPs you know in your area for the most accurate, specific information.

Specializes in NICU, PICU, CVICU, PEDS PRIMARY CARE.

My husband just took a job at a pediatric hospital in PA as a an acute care PNP making approximately $90000 per year. I don't remember the exact figure as he initially worked in another department as an RN while waiting for credentialing to come through. They made up a very nice hourly rate for him based on what his salary is/would be regularly.
