It's been an agonizing 3 days of waiting for the results from CA BRN. I took the NCLEX last Friday on the 7th at San Jose at 8AM. The first few questions were a breeze, then started to become harder halfway through. I got a lot of prioritization questions, one SATA, some meds, and one math question. I was doing so horrible at around question 40 that I thought I was gonna fail it. The items went past the 75 question mark, and that got me more worried...until it suddenly stops at 77! Oh God, so the last two questions may have determined if I passed or failed, considering it just needed 2 more questions beyond the minimum 75 to determine my competency. Question 76 I thought I got wrong, while question 77 (something about dysthymia) I was 75% I got right. But either way, I really felt I messed up big time and wasn't gonna pass.
But thank God I did ^^. Opened up the CA License Lookup site this morning, searched my last name...and there it was, the words "Registered Nurse" and my own license number :). Gave out a big sigh of relief.
Thanks for everyone on the site who helped me with my questions back when I was having issues about obtaining eligibility to take the test. And for everyone else waiting for the results, just hang in there! No matter how terrible you think you did, you would never be sure until you get the results ^^.
