hey everyone! this is my first time on here, but i have been browsing the internet about school and classes , i'm going to have to attend night classes, because i am 32 weeks pregnant with a baby girl . Are there any mothers out there doing similar?? I also am wondering does having your GED affect any way in becoming a nurse? I have always wanted to work in the neonatal field.

I do not have children however I want to encourage you to enter nursing school you may have to take placement test to find out what classes you need to take first before entering any nursing classes. I would contact any community college or university in your area that offers nursing classes. I do know from past experience that most community colleges offer night classes which would work with you. I wish you lots of luck this is a very fulfilling career. I also would encourage you to get your BSN eventually because that would open up so many more options for you in the future and some hospitals pay BSN nurses more than ADN, which ever you do I wish you the best of luck. Congrats on your soon to be little girl it must be very exciting for you.
