Hello everyone, I recently graduated from nursing school and have passed boards. I will be relocating to Atlanta and am interested in Northside hospital. I have called HR but have had difficulty reaching a live person. I have left messages and have not received return phone calls. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Have you tried online?
It is a hospital with a good reputation. My daughter was born there 11 years ago, and we were nurses working in other hospitals at the time, but chose to go there because of the good reputation. It is sometimes referred to as the baby factory because it consistantly has the highest birthrates in the city.
I worked at Dekalb medical center, and my wife worked at Gwinnett medical center.
We moved to NC about 6 years ago, but love GA. We are going back for my wifes 20 year reunion in two weeks.
Good Luck

My mother works there and has been there for over 20 years. HR is not the greatest there. I definitely suggest going and talking to them in person. It might get the ball rolling. They took waaaay too long with me, and then I was offered a job at Kennestone and took it in the ICU. I couldnt have made a better choice for myself. Good luck to you and just remember to stay on their tails!! :)
Thanks for the information. I think I will start looking into other hospitals in the area, such as St. Joe's and Piedmont.
Both wonderful choices, especially Piedmont
